Maggie’s
List Proudly Endorses Amata Radewagen for U.S. Congress

The First
Ever Endorsement of an American Samoa Representative

(Washington, DC) – Maggie’s List, a federal political action committee (PAC) dedicated
to electing fiscally conservative women to federal office and statewide
executive office, is proud to announce the endorsement of current Congresswoman
Amata Radewagen, representing American Samoa.

Amata Radewagen is the
definition of perseverance. Congresswoman Radewagen ran for Congress ten times
before being elected in 2014. She has since then dedicated her time in Congress
to providing a voice for American Samoans in Washington.

“Congresswoman Radewagen is a proven leader who embodies
the American Samoan spirit,” states Sandra B. Mortham, Chairman of Maggie’s
List and former elected Florida Secretary of State. “Her service in Congress,
coupled with her relentless leadership and desire to work on issues that directly
impact citizens and businesses in American Samoa, make her the right choice. We
know she is the right candidate to serve and represent American Samoa because
she respects the need for increased personal responsibility, fiscal
conservatism, and a strong national security.”

Maggie’s List endorsed candidate and Congresswoman Amata
Radewagen states, "I am honored and humbled to be the first American
Samoan endorsed by Maggie’s List. This important endorsement shows the national
attention and interest in our campaign. I am grateful for the support of this
organization who constantly encourages and supports conservative women running
for office. I am excited and am looking forward to the rest of this campaign!”

About Maggie’s List:

Maggie’s List is a Federal
Political Action Committee created to raise awareness and funds to increase the
number of fiscally conservative women elected to federal public office.
Maggie’s List was founded in 2010 by a group of women with a fiscally
conservative economic vision and a desire to address the underrepresentation of
women in Congress. Maggie’s List supports women candidates who stand for fiscal
conservatism, less government, more personal responsibility, and strong
national security. With a primary win rate of 82% and a general election win
rate of 66% in 2016, Maggie’s List has a track record of picking winners thanks
to our grassroots national network led by state chairs with keen political
insight and direct knowledge of the political landscape conservative women candidates
face.
