Washington, D.C. — Maggie’s List, a
federal political action committee (PAC) dedicated to electing fiscally
conservative women to federal office and statewide executive office, is proud
to announce the endorsement of former New Mexico State Representative Janice
Arnold-Jones for New Mexico’s 1st Congressional district.

Janice Arnold-Jones is a proven conservative
and leader. Janice served the citizens of New Mexico as a four term state
representative. During her time in the state legislature, Janice was on several
committees and commissions such as the House Taxation & Revenue Committee
and the House Voters & Elections Committee. Janice Arnold-Jones knows the
representation New Mexico’s 1st Congressional district needs in
Washington and is ready for that role.

“Now that an independent poll has been released and shows a
heated race, we as well as the Democrats know that I can win. Being endorsed by
Maggie’s List, a group that gives conservative women a strong voice, enables us
to reach far beyond the borders of New Mexico for help in winning this very
close race,” states Maggie’s List endorsed Candidate, Janice Arnold-Jones.

“We are so pleased to get Maggie's List
endorsement for Janice. This shows the voters that we have confidence in Janice
and her ability to represent the state in Congress with her experience and
expertise. We know first-hand that Janice is the right individual who will
uphold the Maggie’s List values of fiscal conservatism, more personal
responsibility, less government and a stronger national security while in
Washington,” states Maggie’s List New Mexico State Chair, Elaine Miller.

Maggie’s List is a Federal Political
Action Committee created to raise awareness and funds to increase the number of
fiscally conservative women elected to federal public office. Maggie’s List was
founded in 2010 by a group of women with a fiscally conservative economic
vision and a desire to address the underrepresentation of women in Congress.
Maggie’s List supports women candidates who stand for fiscal conservatism, less
government, more personal responsibility, and strong national security. With a
primary win rate of 82% and a general election win rate of 66% in 2016,
Maggie’s List has a track record of picking winners thanks to our grassroots
national network led by state chairs with keen political insight and direct
knowledge of the political landscape conservative women candidates face. For
