Celebrating America's 250th Birthday

A Message from Executive Director Jen Biddison

Jen Biddison

First of all, let me wish all of you a joyous celebration of America’s 250th birthday!

I’ll be celebrating with fireworks, food and family on the Fourth, and then will be performing in a timely Maryland production of “1776” the following weekend. Reflecting on the sacrifices and struggles of our nation’s Founding Fathers reminds me that the fight for America’s future is both necessary and worthwhile.

Second, congratulations to our June primary winners!

Our July Primary Guide can be found below, as well as two new endorsements — Bea Valenti in Florida and Rep. Sheri Biggs in South Carolina.

Your support is key to increasing the number of conservative women in Congress! Remember that you can visit our website to either donate directly to Maggie’s List or to support individual candidates.

MAGGIE’S LIST ENDORSEMENTS

Bea Valenti

Bea Valenti for Florida’s 14th District

Maggie’s List has endorsed Bea Valenti in Florida’s 14th congressional district.

A Navy reservist and Trump White House alum, Bea most recently served as senior domestic policy advisor to U.S. Senator Ashley Moody. Known as a principled conservative and effective policymaker, she helped oversee passage of the Coast Guard Reauthorization Act of 2025 and played a key role in advancing eight bills through Congress.

Bea has already made a strong impact in public service, and Maggie’s List looks forward to seeing that impact grow when she is elected to Congress.

Rep. Biggs serves on the Homeland Security; Foreign Affairs; and Science, Space and Technology Committees.

JULY PRIMARY ELECTION GUIDE

July Primary Election Guide - Arizona

All eyes are on Arizona in July, where we have two dynamic ladies running for state office.

Maggie’s List has endorsed Katherine Haley for Arizona State Treasurer. Katherine is a small business owner and proven conservative leader with more than two decades of experience in public policy, financial stewardship, and accountability. Four Arizona Treasurers, including the current one, have endorsed Katherine for this position.

Maggie’s List has endorsed Kimberly Yee for Arizona’s State Superintendent of Public Instruction. We previously endorsed Kimberly in both of her successful campaigns for state treasurer, where she currently serves as the highest-ranking statewide elected Republican in Arizona. Before that, Kimberly was the first Asian-American woman elected to the Arizona State Legislature, and was elected the second female Senate Majority Leader in the state’s history following Sandra Day O’Connor. She has been named by Congressional Quarterly’s Roll Call as one of the “25 Most Influential Women in State Politics.”

State Chairwoman Openings

State Chairwoman Openings

If we want to endorse strong female conservative candidates from every state, we need to have Maggie’s List state chairwomen in every state.

Currently we are seeking chairs for Rhode Island, Utah, Maine, Idaho and Vermont.

Do you know energetic, connected women in any of these states who’d be strong advocates for Maggie’s List’s mission to see more conservative women elected to federal office? If so, please contact Jen Biddison at [email protected].
