2020 Candidates

Cynthia Lummis is Wyoming -- through and through. She’s tough, tested and true to the place her family has called home for four generations. Cynthia was a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus, a group consisting of the most unflinching conservative Members of the House of Representatives. She fought throughout her tenure in Congress to rein in spending and reduce the federal deficit, working with the bipartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and ultimately co-sponsoring several bipartisan budget proposals.

Young Kim narrowly lost her 2018 congressional bid in one of the tightest, most watched races in the country and is now seeking a rematch with Democrat Gil Cisneros. Kim’s candidacy gives House Republicans the best opportunity to win back a California House seat. As a leader in the Asian- American community, Young has the ability to attract cross-over votes from this key and fast-growing voter base.

Michelle is running for Congress to be Orange County’s strong voice in Washington that will honor promises made and stand up for Orange County’s values. Michelle is a public servant, mother and proven tax-fighter who wants to make a difference and help those in need. She successfully ran for the California State Board of Equalization, the very agency that showed her how broken our political system is.

Kat Cammack is a small business owner who grew up on a cattle ranch, a third generation sandblaster, an alumnus of the United States Naval War College, and the longtime former Deputy Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager to Congressman Ted Yoho. As a staunch defender of our second amendment rights, she sits on the board of the Friends of the Alachua County NRA, and as an advocate for our communities, she also is President of the Newberry Jonesville Chamber of Commerce. As a fierce advocate for President Donald Trump, she joined the 2016 Woman for Trump Bus Tour.

Born in Miami’s Little Havana to Cuban parents, who emigrated to the United States, fleeing Cuba due to the arrival of Fidel Castro to power. With only five dollars in their pockets, the pursuit for freedom and the American dream was instilled in María Elvira Salazar at an early age by her parents. While being raised in Miami and Puerto Rico, Salazar listened as her parents told stories of the oppressive communist regime from which they escaped. In her career Salazar has interviewed a wide range of social and political leaders, including Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Alvaro Uribe, Jose Maria Aznar, Vicente Fox, Juan Manuel Santos, Augusto Pinochet and Nicolas Maduro. Salazar resides in Miami with her daughters and her husband. She is currently a regular guest on various local and national news programs.

Mary Miller is a mother, grandmother, farmer, business manager and educator. She is running for Congress to fight for our Midwestern values of faith, family and freedom. Washington D.C. won't change Mary Miller. She is running to change Washington. Mary understands that the socialism being pushed by radical elites will take our country backward. Socialism will bankrupt our nation and not only limit our ability to take care of our own citizens, but also limit our ability to assist developing nations. A stronger America is better for Americans and better for the world at large.

Victoria is a natural leader who has a proven track record in the business world, civic organizations and the public sector. In many ways, she embodies the American Dream: born overseas, immigrating to the United States 20 years ago after meeting her husband, a born and raised Hoosier, on a train in Europe, becoming a US Citizen, and working her way up from bank teller to a CPA, finance executive and successful business owner.

As a news reporter, Ashley Hinson shared the stories of countless Iowans. Now running for Congress in Iowa’s 1st district, Ashley is honored to share hers. Ashley is a current Iowa House representative, a former award-winning journalist and a proud mom. An Iowa native, Ashley is the first woman to represent Iowa’s 67th district, which covers Hiawatha, Robins, Cedar Rapids and Marion, where she currently resides. Ashley has worked successfully to balance the budget, cut taxes and protect the most vulnerable in her community. A firm believer in common sense leadership, she has worked across the aisle to help fund school infrastructure while providing direct property tax relief to Iowans.

Mariannette Miller-Meeks is running for Congress because the people of Iowa deserve someone who will never quit fighting for them, their future and the future of their American dream. As a senator, military veteran and doctor, she spent my entire life fighting to protect Iowa values. Her father was a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force who often worked extra jobs, sometimes two or three, to support our family. She originally dreamed of becoming a teacher because she loved school and wanted to share my passion for learning with others.

Lisa McClain will bring a tough practical business approach to Congress. Business leader and conservative outsider Lisa McClain for Congress in Michigan’s 10th District. Lisa McClain serves as Senior Vice President of Hantz Group, a Southeastern Michigan based company that she helped to start and build from the ground up. She has played a major role in building the company to over 700 current employees and 50,000 plus clients. Hantz Group has over twenty-five offices, with three locations in the 10th Congressional District.

Michelle Fischbach is a trailblazer and a proven conservative leader. Fischbach recently served as the 49th Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota, being elevated to that position following the resignation of the previous Lieutenant Governor. She was the first woman in Minnesota history to serve as President of the Minnesota Senate. She was first elected to the Minnesota Senate in 1996 and served until 2018

Born and raised in New Mexico, Yvette Herrell served for 4 terms in the New Mexico House of Representatives, and is the Republican nominee for U.S. Congress in New Mexico's 2nd District. As a state representative, Yvette put people before politics, championing our small businesses and representing our rural values in Santa Fe. An entrepreneur who has owned & operated several successful small businesses, Yvette knows that big government is not the answer. She stood against overbearing regulations and government overreach in Santa Fe, which is why Yvette was awarded as a Hero of the Year by the New Mexico Business Coalition in 2015 and was ranked #1 on the Rio Grande Foundation's Freedom Index in 2018.

In a few short years, Stephanie Bice has earned a reputation as one of Oklahoma’s most effective conservative leaders. Elected to the State Senate in 2014, Stephanie served for two years as Assistant Majority Floor Leader in the Oklahoma Senate and is Chair of Senate Finance Committee. Stephanie modernized Oklahoma’s liquor laws by engineering the first overhaul since 1959 when prohibition was repealed in Oklahoma. Hailed as a victory for consumers and for economic development, Stephanie’s efforts have expanded opportunities in Oklahoma. Now locally owned businesses can sell their products on-site resulting in dozens of new breweries, wineries and distilleries opening across the state and creating approximately 5000 new jobs.

Beth is single, working-mother of two amazing kids. Every day, she reminds them that we live in the greatest state, in the greatest nation, in the history of the world. Where else, but the United States, could a girl leave home at the age of 17, put herself through college, become the first female Mayor of her hometown, and then be asked to serve America in a presidential administration? Beth Van Duyne is running for Congress because she knows the people of the 24th District deserve to have a strong, principled voice in Congress. When asked what prompted her to run for public office; the answer is simple – her children. We live in a very fragile time for our nation, our families, and the future of the American Dream.

Lea was appointed to the Arizona Corporation Commission by Governor Doug Ducey in May of 2019. The Corporation Commission regulates the state’s utility services and the incorporation of businesses. She is the first Latina to serve in a statewide seat in the state of Arizona. Lea has been an entrepreneur in our community for many years and served as the President/ CEO of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber from 2009 until November of 2018.

In 2014 Joni Ernst became Iowa’s first female U.S. senator and the first female veteran elected to the U.S. Senate. Senator Ernst serves on five Senate committees of major importance to Iowans: Armed Services; Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry; Environment and Public Works; Judiciary; and Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Cindy Hyde-Smith was appointed by Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated by long-time Senator Thad Cochran, who resigned in April 2018. She took the oath of office on April 9, 2018. With her selection, Hyde-Smith became the first woman to represent Mississippi in Washington, D.C. Prior to her selection, Hyde-Smith was elected to the Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce in 2011. She easily won reelection to that position in 2015.

Shelley Moore Capito became the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate in the history of West Virginia in 2014. As a member of Congress from 2001 - 2014, Shelley was the first Republican woman elected to Congress from West Virginia.

enator Collins ranks twelfth in Senate seniority and is the most senior Republican woman. She chairs the Senate Aging Committee and the Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee. She also serves on the Intelligence Committee as well as the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.

As a fiscal conservative, Debbie understands the effects of high taxes on the families of CD-08. Debbie has an impressive political background. Debbie served in the Arizona House from 2008-2012. In 2012 she began serving in the Arizona Senate. She was the Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee and member of the Health and Rule Committees. In 2016, Debbie worked on Pension Reform for firefighters and police officers. She then worked on the first ESA vouchers in the country. Debbie also worked on a historic tax reform that lowered taxes for consumers and business owners.

Amata Radewagen is the definition of perseverance. Congresswoman Radewagen ran for Congress ten times before being elected in 2014. She has since then dedicated her time in Congress to providing a voice for American Samoans in Washington

Since her election in 2012, Congresswoman Jackie Walorski has sought to bring a common sense state of mind to Congress. Congresswoman Walorski serves on the House Armed Services, Veterans’ Affairs, and Agriculture committees. She also chairs the House Subcommittee on Nutrition.

Congresswoman Ann Wagner, representing Missouri's 2nd Congressional Distirct, is a trusted, conservative leader. She served as U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg before serving Missouri’s second district which is based in St. Louis County. She has also served as Chairwoman of the Missouri GOP and as co-chair of the Republican National Committee. Congresswoman Wagner has authored the Retail Investor Protection Act, legislation to protect access to affordable investments for middle class families. In the 115th Congress, Congresswoman Wagner served on the House Financial Services Committee.

Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler works hard for her constituents in MO-04. As a member of the Budget committee she and her colleagues crafted a budget that balances in 10 years without raising taxes, and in the Agriculture Committee worked to draft and pass the 5 year Farm Bill. During her time in Congress, Vicky has focused on creating economic prosperity for our families, advancing the missions of Ft. Leonard Wood and Whiteman Airforce Base, and restoring the American Dream for all citizens.

Congresswoman Virginia Foxx is a strong voice for North Carolina values and is a champion of conservative ideas. She is well-known for fighting to rein in wasteful government spending, reduce the national debt and jump start economic growth. Virginia believes that we need to get government out of the way by slashing burdensome taxes and red-tape. She knows that low taxes and American innovation will put more Americans back to work.

The first from her immediate family to graduate college, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik understands how a quality education is the basis for a strong economy and work force. During her time in office, Congresswoman Stefanik has been extremely involved. She has served on the Armed Services Committee, the Committee on Education and the Workforce, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Congresswoman Stefanik is the youngest woman in history to be elected to the United States Congress.

As a member of the Appropriations committee, Congresswoman Kay Granger, fights to protect and secure Social Security, pay down the national debt, promote a strong national defense, and believes congress must balance the need for valuable programs with the need for fiscal responsibility Congresswoman Granger is also a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler has served Washington’s 3rd District since 2011. She is a principled conservative who works hard to find solutions to create jobs and boost the economy. During her time in office, Congresswoman Herrera Beutler has worked to create jobs, assist our veterans, strengthen mental health resources and fight the opioid epidemic. She is the first Hispanic in history to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives from Washington state.

As the highest ranking republican woman in Congress, Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers main priorities include agriculture, rural health care, hydropower and veterans. The congresswoman is a proponent for implementing new technologies for our military and government as a way of making a stronger national security and more efficient government. Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers is the founder and co-chair of the Congressional Military Family Caucus. She also served on the House Armed Services Committee.

As a fiscal conservative, Carol Miller will fight to cut government spending and bring tax reform to the hard-working families of West Virginia. During her time as a State Delegate, Carol fought to bring jobs to West Virginia. Carol Miller will continue that fight in Washington. In the House of Delegates, Carol Miller was the first woman in at least the past 80 years to serve in Republican leadership.

As a political news contributor and book author, Liz Cheney has a wealth of knowledge vital to understanding our country's misguiding’s and the process on fixing the issues. Taking strong positions on the necessity of energy independence and reducing regulations of our nations farmers and ranchers, she will be a strong advocate in supporting the backbone of our great nation in D.C.Congresswoman Cheney serves on the Natural Resources Committee, Armed Services Committee, and the Rules Committee.

Martha McSally has an impressive record of getting things done. During her time serving the individuals of AZ-02, Martha has passed nine bills and has gotten two signed into law. As a Senator, Martha will continue to put the citizens of Arizona first. Martha has been working with President Trump on the important issues including health care, immigration and the budget. She votes with President Trump more than any other member of the Arizona delegation.

Kelly Loeffler was appointed to office on January 6, 2020. Loeffler was born on November 27, 1970. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for undergraduate. She then received her M.B.A from DePaul University. Loeffler was appointed to fill Senator Johnny Isakson seat. Loeffler stands for the Maggie’s List values of fiscal conservatism, less government, more personal responsibility and strong national security.

Tiffany Shedd knows first-hand the crisis Arizonans are facing due to the failure to secure our southern border. Tiffany and her family are regularly confronted with coyotes trafficking illegal immigrants and cartels smuggling drugs across their farm in Eloy. She’s running for congress to implement conservative solutions to the problems Arizonans face because liberal politicians in Washington, DC have repeatedly ignored them. She’ll start by working with President Trump to secure the southern border.

Hamilton embodies the traits of a candidate supported by Maggie’s List. Her impressive resume includes 14 years of active duty in the Air Force, having been stationed at five different bases and two deployments in the Middle East as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. During her military career, Hamilton was awarded several prestigious medals, including the Air Force Achievement Medal, Joint Service Accommodation Medal, Air Force Meritorious Unit Award and Air Force Good Conduct Medal.

Vennia Francois was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. One of nine children, she is a first generation American. Vennia’s parents immigrated to the United States from the Bahamas in 1971 with little more than an unshakeable faith in the promise of America and a determination to work hard. They earned their way into the middle class working multiple jobs, and eventually became small business owners.

Angela Stanton-King is the Founder of American King Foundation – whose mission is to reunite American families separated by mass incarceration with a pathway to justice, economic stability and relational wellness. She serves as the community outreach coordinator for The Alive Center – a place of help, hope and healing for hurting people. Angela is an active board member for Beacon Leadership Academy and an advisor for Cando Clemency and Alveda King Ministries. She is also the Georgia Regional State Coordinator for Coalition of Leaders United.

In 2017, Karen won an 18-way special election for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, defeating Jon Ossoff in the run-off in the most expensive congressional race in U.S. history. Karen was sworn in as Georgia’s first Republican woman ever elected to Congress. Karen quickly distinguished herself as one of the hardest working members of the House, serving on the Judiciary and the Education & Workforce Committees, as well as the bicameral Joint Economic Committee. We are excited to have Karen as one of our candidates!

Becky E. Hites is the conservative candidate for Georgia’s 13th Congressional district, which encompasses the western and southern suburbs of Atlanta. Becky is a Wall Street businesswoman whose company provides strategic consulting to the manufacturing industry. She chose to enter the political arena late last year because she believes this country was founded on Christian values and her family has a heritage of defending those values and our great country

Jeanne Ives served three terms as an Illinois State Representative. First elected in 2012, Representative Ives demonstrated not only a willingness to lead on difficult issues and question powerful House leaders, but also an insightful understanding of policy. Her legislation has been recognized throughout the state and her opinion editorials have been published in the Chicago Tribune, The Federalist and the Wall Street Journal as well as several political news sites.

Esther Joy King is a leader who has a heart to serve. She learned the value of serving from her parents who were missionaries on the US-Mexico border. Although her family did not have much, they were generous to those who were less fortunate. As Esther grew up, she learned the importance of helping people. Today Esther is an entrepreneur and practices law in East Moline focusing on real estate for economic development. Esther understands the genuine struggles of making ends meet in the face of a dysfunctional government, which is a catalyst for why Esther wants to serve you in Congress.

Amanda L. Adkins is a businesswoman, mother and social entrepreneur. For the past 15 years, Adkins worked as an executive at Cerner Corporation, a global Kansas City based healthcare and information technology company. As Vice President of Strategic Growth, Adkins worked with employers and healthcare providers to improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. Adkins is the former chairwoman of the Kansas Republican Party, where she achieved unprecedented election success while serving two terms from 2009-2013. In this capacity, Adkins led a “Clean Sweep” in the 2010 election cycle winning all Federal and statewide races. The KS GOP also increased their majority in the Kansas Legislature gaining 16 seats during this time.

Kimberly Klacik is a wife, mother, nonprofit founder and currently elected to the Baltimore County Republican Central Committee. Mrs. Klacik grew up in Accokeek, Maryland, once known as the home of the Beretta Gun Manufacturer. In 2010, she moved to Baltimore once becoming engaged to her husband. In 2013, Kimberly founded “Potential Me” to assist under served women with workforce development. Assisting close to 200 women become gainfully employed, thirty percent went on to obtain financial independence. As the nonprofit grew, she employed women reentering society and quickly found out what it took to manage payroll and helping families thrive with opportunities she helps create.

Colonel Julie Hall is a veteran, patriot, and a proud mother who understands that the citizens of the 4th district are not concerned with parties or labels, but shared dreams and values. As a Colonel in the United States Air Force, Hall learned valuable leadership skills that she will bring to Congress. After retiring from the Air Force, Julie served as a City Councilor in Attleboro, where she advocated for small businesses and stood up for Veterans. She is deeply involved with her community, especially the organizations and programs not well supported by federal, state or local funding. In 2014, Colonel Hall was named Massachusetts’Outstanding Woman Veteran of the Year for her support and advocacy for Veterans.

Sandy Smith is a strong, conservative that loves this country, supports our president and is truly proud to embrace all of its greatness. Sandy is a business executive, real estate investor and farmer with extensive business experience. She is pro-life, pro-business, pro-school choice, pro-border security, pro-tax cuts, pro-lower government spending, pro-energy independence and pro-education.

As a candidate for Congress, Rosemary brings valuable, first-hand experience in both public policy and the law. She has spent her career working on the front lines of policy and regulatory matters, developing collaborative relationships with key leaders in both chambers of Congress, the Treasury Department, the Securities Exchange Commission, the Federal Reserve Board and other federal and state agencies as well as industry and trade associations. Rosemary also has been a political advocate both on the national and local level. She has authored multiple commentary pieces on tax and financial services issues.

Maureen is a retired firefighter and a first responder to the 911 attacks. She is greatly concerned about the declining values in our country, and is bravely stepping forward to help bring balance back to the people of Congressional District 17.

Chele is running for Congress to provide every New York family with the opportunity to succeed. Specifically, Chele is focused on recapturing the $50 billion dollars more that New Yorkers pay in federal taxes each year than the state receives. By addressing the unfair treatment of New York taxpayers, Chele will invest in the region’s crumbling infrastructure, ease the crushing burden placed on property taxpayers and advance pro-growth policies that will create jobs.

Scheller is the granddaughter of immigrants who founded Silberline Manufacturing Co., one of the region’s premier manufacturers, making a key ingredient in paints and coatings. Lisa took over running the company, following the death of her brother and is currently chairman and president. Lisa Scheller is a trailblazer in the world of business and a successful reformer in public service, embracing both roles with a sense of humanity and purpose. Scheller will make a difference in Washington!

Appearing regularly on National TV & Radio, Kathy Barnette’s first book “Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain: Being Black and Conservative in America” explains why liberal policies have failed the black community time and time again – and will fail the larger American community as Democrats rush to the hard Left of the party. She is a veteran, a former adjunct Professor of Corporate Finance, sought after conference speaker, as well as a Conservative political commentator. Kathy has decided to take on Washington, D.C. and is running for U.S. Congress for the 4th Congressional District. She served her country proudly for 10 years in the Armed Forces Reserves, where she was accepted into Officer Candidacy School. Her corporate career includes working with two major financial firms and in corporate America.

Collins’ impressive resume includes her current title, Head of Corporate Strategy at Istation, a leading education technology firm that supports students and teachers reach their academic goals using personalized learning to pinpoint every student exact reading and math ability. She is also a graduate of SMU’s Cox School of Business and was named one of Park Cities 2018’s local 20 Under 40 for her remarkable work helping to turn around low-performing school districts and change students’ lives.

Aliscia Andrews is a mom, a Marine Corps veteran and national security policy expert. She was born in Hampton, VA and spent her early years traveling with her family while her father served honorably in the Air Force. She was active in the church, played sports, and volunteered in her community. Her life changed forever in the fall of 2005, however, when a high school friend serving in the Army made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. His tragic loss planted the seed that would motivate her to become a Marine.
