Maggie’s List Announces First Round of 2026 Senate Endorsements

Incumbent U.S. Senators Moody, Capito, Ernst, Hyde-Smith and Lummis Praised For Their Excellent Leadership

Washington, D.C. — Today Maggie’s List announced its first round of U.S. Senate endorsements for the 2026 election cycle, naming incumbent Senators Ashley Moody (R-FL), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) and Cynthia Lummis (R-WY).

Maggie’s List, a federal Public Action Committee (PAC), identifies, endorses and funds female candidates whose policy views and legislative behavior promote fiscal conservatism, less government, more personal responsibility and strong national security.

“From my very first primary to become Florida’s Attorney General through my start as Florida’s newest senator, the Maggie’s List members have been unwavering in their enthusiasm and support,” said U.S. Senator Ashley Moody (R-FL). “I’m incredibly honored by their endorsement and will continue to fight for conservative principles in our nation’s capital.”

“On behalf of Maggie’s List Florida, it is an honor to share our enthusiastic endorsement of Senator Ashley Moody’s reelection to the United States Senate,” said Maggie’s List Florida Chairwoman Carole Jean Jordan. “She is a tenacious freedom fighter for all of our citizens and will carry those values forward into her upcoming years in the Senate.”

U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)

Senator Shelley Moore Capito continues to dutifully represent the great state of West Virginia in the U.S. Senate,” said Maggie’s List West Virginia Chairwoman Beth Bloch. “She prioritizes the important needs of her constituents with a forthright approach to governance while serving as chair of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works; Committee on Appropriations; Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation; and Committee on Rules and Administration. Senator Capito‘s long tenure and advancement in Senate leadership is a testament to her hard work and dedication to her state and country, most recently positioning her as Chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, the fourth-highest ranking position in Senate Republican leadership. Maggie‘s List’s endorsement of Senator Capito is well placed, and highlights an optimistic example for women who desire to serve and seek public office.”

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA)

”It is my honor to nominate Senator Joni Ernst to be endorsed by Maggie’s List for her 2026 re-election to the U.S. Senate,” said Maggie’s List Iowa Chairwoman Gwen Ecklund. “As chair of the Senate DOGE Caucus, Senator Ernst is uncovering millions in outrageously wasteful, unaccountable bureaucratic spending from the last 10 years. A glass-ceiling crasher of the highest order, Senator Ernst is the first woman to serve in federal elected office from Iowa and the first female combat veteran elected to serve in the United States Senate.”

"We Mississippians are so proud of Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and know that this endorsement from Maggie's List is well-deserved,” said Maggie’s List Mississippi Chairwoman Sally Doty. “Senator Hyde-Smith supports conservative issues with uncompromising grit and determination and goes the extra mile to help constituents navigate red tape and bureaucracy in dealings with the federal government.”

U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY)

Senator Cynthia Lummis is known and loved by her Wyoming constituents for remaining accessible to us while simultaneously representing our interests and taking courageous and principled stands in Washington, D.C.,” said Maggie’s List Wyoming Chairwoman Jan Larimer. “We know that we can count on Senator Lummis to uphold the Constitution, put America first, oppose tax hikes and protect Wyoming’s natural resources from the leftist Green New Deal agenda. We’re delighted that Maggie’s List has chosen to endorse her again for the 2026 election cycle.”
