“We extend a heartfelt congratulations to every endorsed candidate that secured victory on election night,” stated Sandra Mortham, Chairman of Maggie’s List.

“Because of the dedication of our network of State Chairmen, we are proud to have endorsed many of the winning candidates early in their primary races, including Katie Britt, Monica De La Cruz, Erin Houchin, Jen Kiggans, Sarah Huckabee Sanders and others. At Maggie’s List, we are committed to supporting our candidates every step of the way – including during difficult primary challenges – because we know that those that embrace the values of fiscal responsibility, limited government and strong national security are sure to succeed,” Mortham continued.

Maggie’s List has seen a dramatic rise in the number of conservative women running for office during the last several election cycles. In light of the #MeToo movement, women’s activism is more important than ever.

According to the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP), women comprise more than 56% of all voters, but less than 27% of our representation. Maggie’s List’s mission is to equalize those numbers and empower women to take a stand and run for what they believe in.
