Maggie's List in 'The Capitolist': Maggie’s List Endorses Sen. Ashley Moody for 2026 Election Cycle

Maggie’s List, a federal PAC supporting conservative women candidates, endorsed U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody for reelection in 2026.

The endorsement, announced Tuesday, marks continued support from the organization, which has backed Moody since her first campaign for Florida attorney general. Moody, who took office in the U.S. Senate earlier this year, expressed gratitude for the endorsement, describing Maggie’s List members as “unwavering” in their support throughout her political career and said that she remains committed to advancing conservative principles in Washington.

“From my very first primary to become Florida’s Attorney General through my start as Florida’s newest senator, the Maggie’s List members have been unwavering in their enthusiasm and support,” Moody said. “I’m incredibly honored by their endorsement and will continue to fight for conservative principles in our nation’s capital.”

Maggie’s List Florida Chairwoman Carole Jean Jordan praised Moody as a “tenacious freedom fighter” and noted the senator’s dedication to representing Florida voters.

“On behalf of Maggie’s List Florida, it is an honor to share our enthusiastic endorsement of Senator Ashley Moody’s reelection to the United States Senate,” Jordan said. “She is a tenacious freedom fighter for all of our citizens and will carry those values forward into her upcoming years in the Senate.”

Moody joins four other Republican senators—Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, Joni Ernst of Iowa, Cindy Hyde-Smith of Mississippi and Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming—in receiving the PAC’s backing for the upcoming election cycle.

Founded in 2010, Maggie’s List states that it works to increase the number of fiscally conservative women in federal and statewide executive office. The group has endorsed numerous candidates in recent election cycles.
