Maggie’s List Proudly Endorses

Ashley Moody for Attorney General of Florida:

A Champion for Conservative Values

Maggie’s
List, a federal political action committee dedicated to electing conservative
women to office, is proud to announce the endorsement of Ashley Moody for
Attorney General of Florida. Ashley has a long history of fighting for what’s
right and will protect the citizens of Florida with the highest integrity.

As a fiscal
conservative, Ashley will reduce waste for Florida taxpayers by exploring
innovative ways to reduce costs. Ashley will also work with the private sector
and business leaders to ensure that Florida has a competitive, fair and free
marketplace. As a fifth generation Floridian, Ashley knows first-hand that the
businesses of Florida directly impact the prosperity & well-being of the
citizens and communities. As attorney general, Ashley will make Florida
stronger and safer.

“Ashley Moody is a proven leader who brings so much to
the State of Florida,” states Sandra B. Mortham, Chairman of Maggie’s List and
former Florida Secretary of State. “Her service in Florida, coupled with her
relentless leadership and desire to work on issues that directly impact
citizens and businesses in the Sunshine State, make her the right choice. We
know she is the right candidate to serve as Florida Attorney General because
she respects the need for increased personal responsibility, fiscal
conservatism, and fairly upholding law and order for the citizens of Florida.”

“Maggie’s List is leading the charge to advance conservatism
across every level of government.  Their members are champions for our
conservative priorities and I’m extremely humbled to receive their endorsement
for Attorney General of Florida,” states Ashley Moody.

Ashley is a graduate of the University
of Florida, where she earned her bachelors, masters and juris doctor. She later
attended Stetson University College of Law where she earned a Master of Law in
International Law. Early in her career, Ashley was recognized as one of Tampa
Bay’s “40 under 40” distinguished lawyers for her professional and civic
contributions. Ashley later joined the United States Attorney’s Office where
she prosecuted drug, firearm, and fraud offenses. She was then elected Circuit
Court Judge of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County. Ashley
Moody also taught at Stetson University College of Law as an adjunct professor.

“Ashley Moody upholds the values and leadership that
Maggie’s List looks for in effective and principled leaders. As a fiscal
conservative, Ashley will work tirelessly to make sure Florida’s future is
protected and constitutional rights are upheld,” states Sandra B. Mortham.

Women currently hold only seven attorney general seats,
according to the CAWP. Currently three of the seven women serving as attorney
general are fiscal conservatives. This abysmal number is something that
Maggie’s List works to correct by helping to elect fiscally conservative women
to the U.S. House, Senate, governor and now attorney general seats. Maggie's
List is proud to have Florida's Attorney General, Pam Bondi, on our Board of
Directors!
