Maggie's List Proudly Endorses Martha McSally for U.S Senate

FOR IMMEDIATE
RELEASE

Maggie’s List
Proudly Endorses

Martha McSally
for U.S Senate

A Veteran and
a Leader Ready to Take on the Senate

Maggie’s List, a federal political action committee
dedicated to electing conservative women to office, is proud to announce the
endorsement of Martha McSally for U.S Senate. Martha was elected to Congress in
2014.

Martha McSally has
an impressive record of getting things done. During her time serving the
individuals of AZ-02, Martha has passed nine bills and has gotten two signed
into law. As a Senator, Martha will continue to put the citizens of Arizona
first. Martha has been working with President
Trump on the important issues including health care, immigration and the
budget.  She votes with President Trump more than any other member of the
Arizona delegation.

“Martha
McSally has been a part of Maggie’s List since the beginning,” states Sandra B.
Mortham, Chairman of Maggie’s List and former Florida Secretary of State. “We
know from first-hand experience that Martha is the right candidate to represent
Arizona in Washington because she respects the need for increased personal
responsibility, fiscal conservatism, and a strong national security.”

Before serving in
Congress, Martha served in the U.S Airforce. She retired as a full colonel.
Martha was the first female fighter pilot in United States history. Martha has
two master’s degrees, including one from Harvard. She is very involved in the
Tucson community. Martha served as a board member of Teen Challenge of Arizona,
an internationally renowned faith-based addiction recovery program.
Additionally, Martha served as Commissioner on the Pima County/Tucson Women’s
Commission.

“We have
been pushing Martha to run for Senate through social media campaigns for a
while and we are thrilled she has finally taken the next step. Martha
epitomizes the Maggie’s List values and I cannot wait to see her lead and get
things done in the Senate,” states Sandra B. Mortham.

“Martha
McSally speaks for Arizonans.  On health
care, border security, reducing the size of government and tax reform, Martha
has been at the table and has been effective.
Her lifetime of service in the military, in her community and in the
House has prepared her for US Senate,” states Maggie’s List Arizona State
Chair, Lisa James.

Women
currently hold only 21 seats in the U.S Senate, according to the CAWP.
Currently five of the 21 women serving as U.S Senators are fiscal conservatives.
This abysmal number is something that Maggie’s List works to correct by helping
to elect fiscally conservative women to the U.S. House, Senate and state-wide
offices.
